In the current times we want to offer you Colonic Irrigation at affordable prices and are able to do this in our home based clinic (just like many doctors and dentists these days)by keeping our overheads low, without compromising the quality of treatment in our newly renovated colonic irrigation room. We have state of the art equipment which allows all treatments to be carried out in the safest and most comfortable environment.
Arch is a UK governing body for Colonic Irrigation of which Charlotte is a member (1 of only 3 listed on their register in Dublin). They ensure we are always operating within their stringent guidelines, which we hope helps you understand you are in the most capable and highly trained hands when having treatments with us.
Colonic Irrigation
Isnt a new thing, or a treatment just for the trendy and style conscious. It is a really beneficial treatment which in fact has been around since about 1500BC The principles are actually quite basic and are designed to help the body eliminate excess build up which may have been lying around in the colon for
many years.
Always quite high in toxicity in its natural state, the colon's natural balance of "good" (required for digestion and other natural processes) and "bad" (unnecessary Chemical build up) bacteria can be offset and this causes problems in many ways. So by gently flushing out these bad bacteria with Colonic Hydrotherapy, we are able to help the balance return to normal and help you get on with your life.
The Colonic Irrigation process involves the insertion of a small tube into the rectum in order to allow us to flush the colon with filtered water at around body temperature at very low pressure (about 3 times less than a natural bowel movemet) Abdominal massage is administered during the colonic to allow any waste matter, trapped on the colon wall to become dislodged and flow away with the water upon evacuation. This flush is repeated, depending on the individual, a number of times over a space of about 30 to 40 mins in any one session. Because the colon is 5-6 feet long it can take a number of colonic sessions for a total colonic cleanse and we find in most cases, 4 sessions in quite close succession have the best results.
